We will always try to get orders dispatched as quickly as possible and if you are going away or are unavailable at any point let us know and we will work around that for you if we can.
Our Cultures are all grown and tented to by hand. There is no kefir or scoby machine or automation of any kind – it’s just willing human hands and lots of love.
Because of the bespoke and exclusive nature of our products, there is frequently a small queue for our products. Please do not place an order if you are not happy to wait a little.
Packing the cultures so that they arrive with you in tip top condition is a labour of love and is time consuming, however we want you to receive healthy happy cultures. This is why at times if dispatching on a certain day may be detrimental to the grains (due to the weather or public holidays etc) we may hold orders back. We pack all cultures on the day we actually send them so that they have as long as possible for you to receive them and to allow for some postal delays.
The queue time is a rough outside estimate – we are working hard to get your order out to you as quickly as possible, and will ship your order sooner if we can. If you are going away, please let us know the dates so that we can avoid delivering your kefir while you are gone and if you have a limited time frame then please contact us and let us know, we can make no guarantees but we do our best to meet all deadlines when we are informed of them.
We aim to dispatch orders as speedily as possible however as the vast majority of our products are hand grown or hand made it is not simply a case of picking your order off a shelf and then putting it in a jiffy bag. All scobies and kefir are hand picked and packed with love and care and this can take time. The general turn around time for orders is 3-7 working days (DELIVERY IN AROUND 5-10 WORKING DAYS) although if we can get your order to you faster then we will and some large orders that require a little more special attention may take a little more time to dispatch so please bear with us. I'm afraid we do not allow customers to have their goods sent/collected by their own choice of courier.
We can on occasion offer a fast track service for urgent orders. The fast track service incurs a fee of £15 plus possibly extra delivery charges as we can only offer this service with a courier delivery NOT Royal Mail. This service is offered subject to stock and also may not be available at certain times of the year due to order volumes. Please note that due to the time sensitive nature of kefir we often do not dispatch kefir products over the weekend this is to prevent them sitting in a Royal Mail/Parcel Force office over the weekend. Kefir is often therefore often only dispatched Monday to Thursday (depending on the weather).

If your order arrives broken or damaged then please inform us straight away and take photographs of the damage and packaging. Once we have received photographs of the damaged items we will replace the item as soon as possible. If we do not receive photographic evidence of the damage we will not be able to process a claim and therefore will not be able to offer a refund/exchange.
Dispatch Guide times.
We will make every effort to get your order to you as quickly as possible. As the vast majority of our items are hand made or hand grown we do not simply pick items off a shelf and post them to you. The general turnaround on orders is around 3-7 working days days, although please note this is a guide (please see notes above, DELIVERY SHOULD BE EXPECTED IN AROUND 5-10 WORKING DAYS, UK ORDERS ONLY INTERNATIONAL DELIVERIES WILL DEPEND ON THE DESTINATION COUNTRY) only and that our dispatch dept. and offices are not open over the weekend so any orders placed over a weekend will be processed in the next working week. Please note to ensure that your order is received in the best possible condition we may at times dispatch kefir and some other live cultures orders Mon-Thurdsay to avoid your order being delayed by the weekend and sitting in a sorting office (this depends on temperature and weather conditions) and we may hold orders back before bank holidays to avoid your order sitting with the postal services for an extended weekend.
Please note: We retain proof of postage for all items dispatched, including Royal Mail items. Royal Mail estimates delivery to be within 1-3 working days for tracked/ 48/ signed for and 1-2 days for tracked 24 however please note that this is simply an estimate and orders to channel island, northern Ireland or highland address may take longer. Royal Mail will only guarantee to deliver items within 15 working days. We would encourage all customers ordering live cultures to choose our tracked next day courier options as in the unlikely event Royal Mail do not deliver within their estimate live cultures can survive for approx 7-15 days in their packaging. In the unlikely event that your Royal Mail delivery is delayed Royal Mail will NOT compensate for the loss of any cultures so neither can we. If you are happy to take the risk (its a very very very small one and it is very very rare) then so are we but there is nothing we can do if the culture is dead by the time its arrives! Again we would always encourage the UK courier delivery for cultures. In Addition any items that are lost in the post or are scanned as delivered but not recieved are not considered lost/late by Royal Mail until 15 Working days have passed since posting and a Royal Mail lost Mail claim must be submitted. If your order is late or lost and Royal Mail was your posting option then please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org to request we submit a claim. This must be filled in and submitted to Royal Mail by us and then they will investigate before goods can be replaced/refunded. Royal Mail will then contact you and ask you to return a form to them. the claim will not be processed and be classed as closed if you do not return the form to Royal mail. By selecting Royal Mail as your delivery method you agree to this and all Royal Mail's terms of carriage. Royal Mail's Full terms and conditions can be read here. If you are ordering kefir for international delivery please order dehydrated grains or select a courier delivery rather than international post. This is because we have no control over delivery times with international post. With Most EU countries (outside of this dehydrated grains are a must) international post is generally not an issue as the grains can survive for around 15 days and most deliveries are made in this time however the delivery estimate is just an estimate and as their are so many factors out of our control we cannot guarantee the survival of live grains.We strongly encourage customers to choose the courier option for live cultures. We can only guarantee the dehydrated grains. Whilst this is not something that is generally problematic order live grains at your own risk.

The customer is responsible for ensuring any items ordered can be imported into the destination country and for all applicable paperwork. Happy Kombucha is unable to accept￼￼￼￼￼
any responsibility for potential customs and importation issues and will not issue refunds. The duties, customs fees, brokerage fees and all other incidental charges are the responsibility of the customer. All items shipped will be accurately labeled for customs purposes including classification as food products. Exterior packaging cannot be removed or altered prior to shipping. We will not knowingly violate customs laws and cannot make exceptions.
Please be advised that the courier may look to leave your parcel with a neighbor if you are not at home when they deliver, if you are not happy for this to happen please ensure that you display an opt out sticker available from Royal Mail and notify us in the notes to merchant section of the shopping cart so we can note it on your parcel.
