Cookies

Like most websites, Happy Kombucha uses cookies. This page explains what they are, which ones we use, and how you can choose which cookies you accept.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website saves on your device. They help the site work properly, remember your basket and your choices, and help us understand how people use our shop so we can improve it.

Your choices

When you first visit our site, a cookie banner lets you accept or reject non-essential cookies, or choose your own preferences. We only use non-essential cookies, such as analytics and marketing cookies, if you agree to them. You can change your mind at any time using the cookie preferences link at the bottom of our website, or by clearing cookies in your browser.

The cookies we use

Essential cookies

These are needed for the shop to work, for example to keep items in your basket, keep checkout secure and remember your cookie choices. Our shop runs on Shopify, which sets these cookies. You can't switch them off through our cookie banner, but you can block them in your browser. If you do, you may not be able to add items to your basket or check out. You can read more about the cookies Shopify uses in Shopify's cookie policy.

Analytics and performance cookies

With your consent, these help us understand how visitors use our site, such as which pages are popular, so we can make it better. The information is collected in a way that doesn't identify you personally.

Marketing cookies

With your consent, these may be used to show you relevant offers and to measure how well our marketing works.

Other services

Some features on our site, such as our live chat, product reviews, embedded videos and payment options like PayPal, are provided by other companies and may set their own cookies. These are covered by those companies' own privacy and cookie policies.

Managing cookies in your browser

Most browsers let you see, block and delete cookies in their settings. You can find out more at the Information Commissioner's Office and allaboutcookies.org.
