Postal workers are due to strike in a dispute over pay on 26 and 31 August, and 8 and 9 September.
We are expecting this to have a large impact on deliveries and therefore we will be suspending Most Royal Mail services during this period. We will be offering EVRI or DPD or Royal Mail Tracked 24. Please expect delays across all carriers as there will invariably be a knock on affect.
We apologise that this will increase postage costs in some cases but Royal Mail have confirmed that they will not be collecting during the strikes or allowing us to drop off at depots and they will ONLY be delivering special delivery and as much tracked 24 services as they can. No letters or Tracked 48 services will be delivered at all during this time. Due to the timing of the dates to coincide with the bank holiday we expect it to take a few weeks for Royal Mail to clear the backlog.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused but we have no choice as Royal mail will be unusable due to the perishable nature of the cultures but this strike is completely out of our control.
