Organically Brewed Kombucha Starter Tea (330ml)

Kombucha starter tea — or brew juice, as we like to call it — is the liquid that makes kombucha happen. It contains the living bacteria and yeasts needed to ferment a new batch of kombucha, acidifying the sweet tea quickly and protecting it from unwanted microbes while your brew gets going.

Already ordered one of our SCOBYs? You don’t need this. Every SCOBY we send comes packed in its own starter tea — there’s plenty in the pouch to get your first brew going straight away.

This starter tea is for when you need a little extra — boosting a larger brew, firing up a second vessel, giving a sluggish batch a kick, or if you’re starting completely from scratch without a SCOBY and want to grow your own.

You’ll receive 330ml of raw, unpasteurised, unfiltered, aged organic kombucha starter tea, sent in a BPA-free HDPE bottle. It’s made with organic green tea and organic sugar, with nothing else added — pure, natural, and ready to use straight away.
