The Kilner® 2 litre Round Clip Top Glass Jar has a green ceramic lid. The lid is embossed with the words Bird food on the lid however these jars are a really good size to ferment with. The lid can be removed (simply unlatch the C clip at the back) if required.
These jars are perfect for all manner of fermentation and can be used for first ferments in kefir, Kombucha, Ginger beer and Yogurt making. They can also be used for vegetable fermentation and canning, storing dry foods stuff and also preserving fruits, jams and chutneys.
The lid can be removed (simply unlatch the C clip at the back) if required.
