Chia Seeds  are the new exciting super food that's a must have for your diet. These tiny seeds are loaded with goodness. Chia is packed with Omega 3 oils, easily out muscling the levels of Omega 3 found in oily fish and is laden with fibre and protein. Chia is brim full with vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.

Use Chia to easily and simply maximise the nutrition value in your meals. Simply add Chia to salads, yoghurt or cereals. Chia is great in sweet or savoury foods like muffins or bread. Mixing Chia with water forms a thick gel which is great to blend into soups, stews or smoothies.

So what can they do for you?

Diet & Weight Loss...  Organic Chia could be helpful as part of your diet plan. That's because chia is high in fibre.

According to the NHS website, "Fibre has many health benefits can help prevent heart disease, diabetes, weight gain, some cancers, and improve digestive health."

"However, many people don't get enough fibre. On average, most people in the UK get about 14g of fibre a day. You should aim for at least 18g a day."

10g of organic chia will provide you with 3.8g of fibre.

How and Where we Farm... DID YOU KNOW?
Chia is not created equal. Where and how Chia is grown has a significant impact on its nutritional properties. The latitude, water source, day length, climate, soil and harvesting methods all play a part in developing nutrition in the seed. The Chia Co chia is grown in Western Australia, because it provides the ideal growing conditions for Chia including latitude, soil type, ample water from Lake Argyle and a distinct dry season for growing Chia. The combination of all these elements is crucial to maximize the Omega 3 content and purity of every seed.
